DEEP 2014: Designing Enabling Economies and Policies

 

The fourth annual DEEP conference will be held

The objective of the DEEP conference is to engage in substantive, in-depth discussion about implementation strategies for digital inclusion of persons with disabilities among decision makers promoting the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in their respective countries; to identify levers and innovative approaches that go beyond current strategies.

IDRC partners with Lumen Learning to Create Next-Generation Courseware

Lumen Learning has been selected to receive funding as part of the Next Generation Courseware Challenge, a $20 million grant competition from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to build exemplary, affordable digital course materials that improve student success among low-income and disadvantaged learners. The Inclusive Learning Resource Centre (IDRC) is excited to be a partner in this project. The IDRC will design the courseware’s universally accessible user experience.
