OCAD University accepting applications for Inclusive Design Professor

The Faculty of Design invites applications for one full-time tenure-track teaching position at the Assistant Professor level in Inclusive Design, with an emphasis in the area of Digital Inclusion. This position is expected to commence July 1, 2012 and is subject to budgetary approval.

The research component of the position will be closely affiliated with and will receive support from the Inclusive Design Institute and the Inclusive Design Research Centre, an international centre of expertise in the inclusive design of emerging information and communication systems and practices with a large team of permanent research staff with international expertise, leading more than 18 multi-sector, international research networks as well as a number of open source communities. This anti-disciplinary research organization focuses on the design and development of new systems and practices that radically improve the way we live, learn, express, work and play as a consequence of designing for human diversity. The Inclusive Design Institute is a regional research hub with participation from eight post-secondary institutions and upwards of 15 million in state-of-the-art research infrastructure located at OCAD U.
